do you think they will use them lame run on the mill black frames funny looking glasses or make custom pairs?. I mean I know the dvd will obviously have custom saw graphics on their glasses like other films..but it prob. wouldnt make sense for the theaters would it.

I never thought about that, would be cool if we got extra SAW-glasses!
But I don't think they'll do that, unfortunately!

haha It would be sorta neat to have them as saw blades. Im sure when they dvd is released they will be something along those lines...I think it would prob be to much money to make for theater use and then again for dvd but I hope they do some sort of 3d like poster like you see on dvd covers now a days. like the firday the 13th 3d re releases..how it looks 3d but you dont need glases to see it 3d...That would get people to notice in theaters I think

The real3d glasses ( grey lense black plastic frame ) we get in theaters nowadays are way better than what we use to get ( cardboard with blue and red or magenta and green like DVD releases) I wish the DVDs would use the real3d technology over the cardboard type. I just can't help but feel like the colored glasses are tinting my vision of the screen.

the Real3D technology requires a special projector. That's why 3D films are only shown in certain screens, so until TV's catch up (which they're doing now), we're stuck with red and green.

To anwser the threads question, i'd love to see Saw designed glasses, but I doubt it'd happen

I forgot to mention what you just did. 2010 is apparently coined the year of 3D. 3D is still gimmicky to me and hurt my eyes with either pairs. I personally do not think it's a big selling feature that people like myself are going to go out to update our sets.

My area is pretty obscure and has RealD, so chances are it'll be that. No complaints, since Avatar was primarily in that; just hope that VII isn't full of pop-out BS.
