Hi guys
The script has finally arrived and i'm reading through it now. I've only read the first 30 pages so far and there's 103 altogether, but like with the Saw 5 omissions i'll post the ones from the first 30 pages now, and then when i've got more I shall post them in another message on this same thread. By the way, I have only seen the film twice, so the dialogue isn't drilled in to my head yet, so I may miss some dialogue changes, apologies if I do! Ok, here's the omissions from the first 30 pages: During the opening scene while the doll is explaining the rules Simone says ‘we can work together’. After Eddie says ‘I’m not dying for you, bitch!’ she says ‘you spineless prick, I was going to help you!’ and gets a ‘fuck you!’ in return. Just before Simone starts to hack her arm off with the cleaver she says ‘I got you! I fucking got you!’ (which I’m very glad got cut out, it seems unrealistic). Simone only hacks at her arm once and it comes off. When the timer hits zero her head device unlatches and she takes it off. The glass box doesn’t move out of the crushing room, instead a trap door opens up and Hoffman crawls out. In William’s office when he gets the message from Addy about a Casey Patterson on line one, he asks Addy to remind him what she wants, to which Addy says that Casey is disputing the rejected claim and has called 3 times so far. William says to take another message. He then turns to Debbie, shrugs and says ‘I’ll get back to her next week’. As William watches Pamela on the screen she says how John Kramer wasn’t as smart as he thought, because all the propeties he had purchased were now worth less than half of what he paid. When Allen enters the room he looks at the tv and says ‘that girl is smokin’ and Willim chuckles and says ‘out of your league, kid’. As Jill is listening to the tape of she and John at the hospital with Gideon on the monitor, Pamela calls her, wanting to discuss John some more and Jill tells her to leave her alone. The police officer who informs Hoffman that the feds have taken over the crime scene is female, not male. As Erickson and Hoffman discuss Strahm we get a quick flashback to Saw 4 when Strahm and Perez find the 2 envelopes with their photos in them and Strahm saying ‘we’re th 2 Jigsaw targets’. Just before Hoffman speaks with Simone at the hospital, as he and Pamela have their conversation, Pamela makes a point that she wants Hoffman to help her to talk with Jill Tuck. In the morgue at Eddie’s autopsy Hoffman walks over to an empty gurney across the room from Eddie’s corpse, and we get a flashback to Jigsaw’s autopsy. I can’t remember how clear it was made in the film, but the script points out that Eddie and Simone’s doll tape has gone missing, so that’s why they are examining the Seth Baxter tape instead. The 2 addicts in Jill’s clinic behave more threateningly and Jill grabs the male addict and tells him to relax and then she whispers something in to the female addict’s ear. We don’t get to find out what it is, but whatever it is it calms her down. When Hoffman and Jill talk about the new game, Hoffman opens up the first envelope and it contains 4 photos – the first is of William, the second is of Hank, the third is Tara and the fourth is Brent. (I only remember the photo of William being seen, but sorry if i'm wrong). That's all for now, more coming soon!

Hey Keith, thank you so much. I really appreciate these threads!

She's doing that in the movie, too, isn't she? It's been a while since it watched it the last time, but I'm pretty sure she actually did ask him for Jill Tuck in the movie!

Yup, Pamela says that to Hoffman in the movie.
Now we know what the line in the trailer meant ("I was going to help you"), see, I was right. ... I guess. Glad that they cut out the "I got you! I fucking got you!", reminds me to much of Strahm at the end of SAW V. ![]() Keep it up, Keith, and thanks. Love those threads. ![]() |

You're welcome everyone!
Here's the next 30 pages, so up to page 60 now. Good news, we find out what is in every envelope - all 6 get opened and we see the contents of them all. But you'll see that anyway in this post, so i'll stop talking now. Was just excited about it, lol. Anyway, here they are: The flashback conversation between John and Jill in the clinic has slight changes. John says ‘Addiction never is. Wake up’ and John mentions Cecil, which comes as an emotional dagger to Jill. And John also says ‘when you see death, you learn how to respect life’. After Amanda says ‘it’s real. He helped me’ the scene ends there’. William’s capture scene is slightly different. In the film the shadow at the door belongs to the security guard, but in the script the shadow clearly has a pig mask on and William runs back in to his office, looks back and the shadow is gone, but it then gets replaced by another shadow, and this is the security guard. After William shoots the security guard the guard says ‘I followed him in here’ William asks who and the guard says ‘the man in the mask’. When Hoffman grabs William he doesn’t inject him right away, he throws William to the floor, injuring his back, then leans down and stabs him with the syringe. It’s pointed out by Jigsaw that Hank has heart disease aswel as high blood pressure (pretty sure the film only mentions high blood pressure, could be wrong though). William doesn’t say to Hank ‘Hold your breath’. (I’m glad it made it in to the film, coz it adds a lot to the scene, the fact that despite them having to compete against each other William’s first reaction is not malicious, not fully accepting of what must be done. It gives it a more realistic feel, as opposed to Eddie’s silly outburst against Simone at the beginning). During the Pamela kidnap scene, as she heads for Jill’s home, she reads a note that gives her Jill’s address. It is signed by H, so we can assume Hoffman did deliver for Pamela on finding Jill Tuck. Unless that’s the making of a Heffner twist! Lol. When Pamela gets kidnapped she heads in to the lift (elevator) and presses the buttons, but there’s no power. She steps out and the pig masked Hoffman appears in front of her, injects her with a syringe, and stares at her face to face as she squirms and loses consciousness. We see Hoffman open envelope three, which contains two photos – one of Addy and one of Allen. (envelope 2 was Pamela, as we saw in the film). In the party flashback John talks about the building that Art talks about in Saw 4, the lower income family building, and he says how he believes that these people will better themselves when given a better standard of living. During the drop pit game the doll doesn’t get winched up in to the ceiling, neither does Allen’s body. And Addy gets released, falling to the floor below with the noose now disconnected. Hoffman opens the fourth envelope, which contains a photo of Debbie. He then opens the fifth envelope, which contains a photo of the dog pit team – a group photo. (so that’s everyone accounted for, which is good, coz there was quite the debate about what each envelope contained). A wheelbarrow isn’t used to transport Timothy Young to the rack, instead he’s on a gurney. When Hoffman says ‘you want him to suffer just as much as I do’ John asks ‘how do you know?’, to which Hoffman says ‘because he deserves it’. Amanda’s line from that footage where she says ‘I don’t trust him’ is in the script, but Jigsaw’s reply is different – instead of saying ‘but do you trust me?’ he says ‘It’s not your concern’. After John and Amanda leave, Hoffman violently puts Timothy on to the rack. When Jill and John talk during the flashback (where he gives her the key), Jill begs John to stop doing his work. During the flashback of John appealing to William about his claim (and I’m sure this is the most shocking part! Lol) the piranha line does not exist! John’s ‘you think it’s the living…’ line is a bit different. He says ‘you think it’s the ones you save who will have final judgement over you... (the rest is the same).

Glad that they added the "Hold your breath" line in the movie, it makes William somewhat sympathetic.

Here's the last ones, pages 60 -102 (got it wrong about there being 103 pages, lol).
I have to say, the script answers whether Hoffman's test was winnable or not - I hope they include this extra footage in the uncut version! Here they are: Debbie isn’t strapped to the wall in the steam room, she’s strapped to a metal table. The device that kills Debbie act in the same way that it does in the film, but instead of shooting out through the top of her head it shoots out of her left eye. After the scene where Hoffman, Perez and Erickson talk about fingerprint oil there’s a scene where Jill is at home and she removes a burlap sack from the box and we hear the slight sound of clanking metal – the RBT of course, a foreshadowing moment. Josh’s long speech to William as he’s about to die isn’t there, all he does is call William a motherfucker and say his policy is bullshit, and then say ‘Look at me! You’re killing me!’. The rest isn’t there. When all 6 shots have been fired the bindings that hold them to the carousel open up, releasing them, and the 4 dead people flop to the floor. As William is heading for the final area, where Pamela, Brent and Tara are, he comes to a fork in the corridor, with the doll sitting on its tricycle laughing at him, and an arrow has been painted on the doll, pointing down one of the 2 corridors. He kicks the doll over and says ‘Fuck you!!!’ Just as William is about to enter the final room Pamela shouts ‘No! Don’t open the door!’ because she works out that the lever in the other room will be connected to William’s room if he enters. (she was watching Brent pull the lever on the tv monitor). William says ‘I made it! I won the game! Let her go!’ after he rushes over to Pamela, to which she says ‘No…you don’t understand’. As Jill straps Hoffman to the chair he says ‘What the fuck are you doing? I’ll fucking kill you, bitch! John can’t protect you anymore!’. Pamela warns William that he is in danger. After Jigsaw’s final tape William refuses to believe that it’s not his game and says ‘No…I followed the rules…I won…I made it in time…’ The lever then becomes active, without William having to step on the pressure plate, and the camera scans around the room, revealing the rack of needles and William says ‘My God…’ Pamela pleads more for William, aswel as saying about having mercy, she says he’s changed, that he’s sacrificed himself to save her and that killing him won’t bring back her husband. Tara has more dialogue, saying ‘I could turn the other cheek and tell myself the system just works that way, but that’s not true! Someone has to push the buttons! The mere knowledge of the pain inflicted should be more than one person’s conscience can bear! But I don’t know if a man like you even has a conscience!’ I guess it’s not really worth mentioning, but Brent says ‘dad’ instead of ‘father’ when he shouts at William as he pulls the lever. For me, this is the most important part that got cut (and I’m not joking like with the piranha line) – Hoffman’s RBT comes with a key to release him, Jill stands in front of Hoffman, waving the key in his face and shakes her head ‘No’. After Hoffman breaks his left thumb, he slips his hand out and snaps his right thumb. That's all, I hope you enjoyed reading! Sorry about the few instances where dialogue I included was actually in the film, only seen the film twice so far.
